Both the Bankstown and East Hills/Airport Lines provide excellent direct rail access to the city. There is however a lack of connectivity between these two rail corridors.
A light rail loop running between Bankstown, Condell Park, Georges Hall, the new Bankstown Hospital, UWS Milperra Campus and along the East Hills Line to Padstow and back to Bankstown would unify our community.
This light rail loop could be further developed to provide public transport to Canterbury, Chester Hill and Parramatta.
